We use account, workspace, and technical information to provide and protect the service. Plain Desk is currently free, so we do not ask for card or payment details to open an account.
The information involved depends on how you use Plain Desk.
This includes your name, email address, account preferences, workspace content, projects, notes, tasks, knowledge pages, and messages you send to support.
We may process basic device, browser, IP, sign-in, and feature-usage events to keep the service reliable, understand broad usage, and respond to security issues.
We use information to provide the features you request, authenticate accounts, maintain reliability, answer support questions, prevent misuse, and meet applicable obligations.
How information is shared, retained, and put under your control.
We may use carefully selected providers for infrastructure, email delivery, monitoring, and other essential operations. They receive only the information needed for their service and act under appropriate terms.
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to operate and secure Plain Desk. When you request deletion, we remove or de-identify eligible data, subject to necessary legal and security retention.
