A fair-use agreement

Use Plain Desk for real work. Respect other people, their accounts, and the service.

By creating an account or using Plain Desk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Plain Desk is currently provided free of charge and does not require payment details.

Your account and content

The responsibilities that come with creating and using a workspace.

Account responsibility

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You give Plain Desk the limited permission needed to host, process, display, and transmit it solely to operate and improve the service for you.

Acceptable use

Do not break the law, infringe rights, distribute malicious material, probe for vulnerabilities, interfere with the service, evade access controls, or use Plain Desk to harm another person.

How the service works

Availability and changes

We work to keep Plain Desk dependable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be improved, replaced, limited, or retired as the product evolves; material changes will be communicated where practical.

Personal access

The Personal plan is free. Paid plans and their applicable terms are presented before you choose to purchase, and recurring billing requires explicit subscription selection.

Suspension or closure

You may stop using Plain Desk and request account deletion. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address serious misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or harm to the service or others.
